"The Institute of Digital Government, Waseda University headed by Dr. Toshio Obi, has released the results of 2018 Waseda-IAC International Digital Government ranking survey for the 14th consecutive years. This survey is conducted by the distinguished experts from Waseda University and ten world-class universities under the umbrella of the International Academy of CIO in the field. These Institutions are Waseda University (Japan), Peking University (China), George Mason University, (USA), Thammasat University (Thailand),Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), National University of Singapore (Singapore), RANEPA (Russia),University of Turku (Finland), Bocconi University (Italy), Taiwan e-Governance Research Center (Taiwan) and De La Salle University (Philippines)."

"The Institute of Digital Government, Waseda University headed by Prof. Dr. Toshio Obi, has released the results of 2017 Waseda-IAC International Digital Government ranking survey for the 13th consecutive years. This survey is conducted by the distinguished experts from Waseda University and 10 world class universities under International Academy of CIO in the field. Thanks for their contributions to the multi-stages of the survey. One of clear change of our survey this year is to recognize the transformation from [e-Government] to [Digital government] as the new definition which covers more comprehensive activities. The 12th Waseda IAC International e-Government Rankings Survey 2016 Report

"The Institute of e-Government, Waseda University (Director Prof. Dr. Toshio Obi),has released the results of the 2016 Waseda-IAC International e-Government ranking survey for the 12 th consecutive year. The 2016 ranking survey marks Singapore staying at first place, followed by USA in 2 nd , Denmark in 3rd, Korea in 4th and Japan in 5th place. Estonia is in 6th, Canada in 7th, Australia in 8th, New Zealand in 9th and both the United Kingdom and Taiwan ranked 10th."

2015 WASEDA - IAC International e-Government Ranking Survey

"The Institute of e-Government at Waseda University, Tokyo, in cooperation with the International Academy of CIO (IAC), has released the results of its international e-Government rankings survey for 2015. This research, led by Professor Toshio Obi, Director of the Institute of e-Government, Waseda University, presents the eleventh consecutive year of monitoring and surveying worldwide e-Government development. The result of the survey is that Singapore was positioned at the first place, followed by the USA in 2nd, Denmark in 3rd, the United Kingdom in 4thand Korea in 5th place. Japan was in 6th, Australia in 7th, Estonia in 8th, Canada in 9thand Norway ranked 10th. "

WASEDA - IAC 10th International e-Government Ranking 2014

"The Institute of E-Government at Waseda University (Director: Prof. Toshio Obi), Tokyo in cooperation with the International Academy of CIO (IAC) has released the results of its international e-government rankings survey for 2014. This research presents the tenth consecutive year of monitoring and surveying worldwide e-government development by the research team of Professor Toshio OBI, Director of the Institute of E-Government and experts with IAC member universities. The result of the survey is that USA replaced Singapore (2nd) and tied for the first place, followed by South Korea in 3rd, the United Kingdom in 4th and Japan in 5th place. Canada in 6th, Estonia in 7th, Finland in 8th, Australia in 9th and Sweden ranked 10th. "

Waseda University International e-Government Ranking 2013

"The Waseda University Institute of e-Government is pleased to release the 2013 Waseda University International e-Government Ranking. This is the ninth consecutive year of monitoring and surveying the development of e-Government worldwide (55 countries) by the research team of Prof. Dr. Toshio Obi, Director of Institute of e-Government, Waseda University. The Team has made the meetings with many international and national organizations including OECD, ITU, and UN. The research has been conducted by Waseda University in cooperation with International Academy of CIO with partner universities to organize the workshops and meetings. "

" The Waseda University Institute of e-Government has released the results of
its recently concluded Waseda University World e-Government Ranking 2008. This research is the 4th year outcome on monitoring and evaluating e-government by Waseda University, Japan. There are a number of new trends seen in the outcome of the research. The emergence of Web 2.0, meaning that the usage of the Internet, as an effective and easy way to increase the interaction and participation of citizens, has been empowered by new technologies and applications such as blogs, Rich Site Summary (RSS), and mobile government.

2007 World e-Government Ranking 

"The Waseda University Institute of E-Government has released its 2007 World E-Government Ranking. For three consecutive years, the Institute has ranked the development of E-Government in 32 selected countries.

The Waseda University E-Government Ranking is the first of its kind the world to make a comprehensive research covering not only Home Page, but also substantial activities to achieve the goal of E-Government. A multidisciplinary team formed by researchers from 14 different countries was in charge of the administration of the ranking. "
